Collection of Toy Donations
2. Christmas for Kids
Trish Murphy -Rae presented information about her organization and asked for
volunteers.
3. El Fuerte trip
Passed around a sign-up sheet for interested participants.
4. Teen Center Discussion
Bess announced the next meeting for the Teen Center to be at 6:00 on Monday. She
encouraged people to participate.
5. Mock City Council Meeting Topics
Meeting - February 29, 2000
Suggestions ranged from the Stadium issue to additional fire stations.
6. Spring Community Service
Christ's Haven, February 5, 2000
Volunteer Opportunities and brainstorming
Ideas from the group were an Easter Egg hunt to benefit a children's organization,
plant flowers, work at the tree farm, and Summer Santa.
7. Youth in Government - Austin Trip
Possible Dates in April
Any Monday; Wednesday - Second Choice
8. Youth of the Year nominations
Courtney announced that nominations were being accepted for Youth of the Year.
