3. Administrative Comments.
a) Tina Harvey of Adventure Club is planning to appear
before Council on March 17, 1992 to make her
recreational program proposals to Council.
b) Greg Last reported that Murray Printing in
Southlake had submitted an estimate for the
printing of the Parks and Recreation brochure.
c) Janet Murphy reported that Council had approved the
temporary playing field sites near Carroll
Elementary.
d) Janet Murphy reported that Identitek examined the
scoreboard signs on the three fields and is in the
process of creating the advertising signs for these
locations.
e) Greg Last reported that IBM will donate
approximately 22-25 trees for planting at
Bicentennial Park.
4. Discussion - Timarron Park Dedication Fee Requirements.
Susan Evans explained that Mobil Land Development could
not make a Park Dedication of land in lieu of fees.
Mobil did request 50% credit on Phase I of their Timarron
development amounting to $40,500. Susan Evans also
discussed the planned golf course on the Timarron
development.
5. Discussion - Park Master Plan.
Discussion concerning implementation of the Parks Master
Plan centered around Zone 7 priority site (35 acres)
adjacent to Bicentennial Park, improvements to school
sites, and efforts to establish a working relationship
with the Corps of Engineers for a park site.
6. Discussion - Goals/Objectives.
A bond package for 1993.
Adjustment of Park Dedication fee Ordinance to
increase collection amounts.
Commercial Land Dedication fees.
