TEEN COURT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING
November 4, 1991 6:00 p.m.
MINUTES
MEMBERS PRESENT: Ralph Hopkins, Coordinator; Janine Bernasek,
Vice -Chairperson; Cathy Turner, Acting Secretary. Members:
Chauncey Willingham, Kristen Gustafson, Jason Weddel, Mike Bedrick,
and, Jon Michael Franks.
COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT: Buddy Luce, Chairman; Sally Hall,
Secretary; Brad Bradley, and, Megan Hartman.
The Regular meeting of the Teen Court Advisory Committee was called
to order by Ralph Hopkins, in the absence of Chairman Buddy Luce.
Agenda Item #2, Approval of Minutes
Motion was made and approval given
28, 1991, Teen Court Advisory meeting.

enda Item #3, Administrative Comments
to the minutes of the October
Gustafson, Weddel, Franks,
Hopkins noted that Judge Brad Bradley will see that the brochure is
completed. He will get with Buddy Luce in preparing the training
program for the Teen Lawyers.
It was determined that December 2, 1991, the first meeting in
December, will be the start date for Teen Court. There may not be
any cases, however, the committee will use this time for practice
cases, according the Hopkins.
Aaenda Item #4, Establishment of BY -Laws for Teen Court
This item was tabled, as Buddy Luce was to prepare a draft of the
By -Laws for the group.
enda Item # 5, Teen Court Conference
Mr. Hopkins stated that everyone going to the Teen Court Conference
should meet at 8:00 a.m. in the parking lot at the high school.

Those who indicated they plan attending include: Christen
Gustafson, Jeromy Denton, Aimee Sommers, Adon Cullins, Micka Van
Sickle and Ralph Hopkins. Janine Bernasek and Cathy Turner my not
go if other teens can go.
enda Item #6, Presentation at November P.T.O. Meetin
Chauncey Willingham led the discussion in regards to the
presentation to be made at the November P.T.O. meeting. He
suggested the presentation be tabled in lieu of the high school
parent meeting and tutorials at school. Mike Bedrich suggested
possibly the February P.T.O. would be a good time, after the
holidays are over, and after the court process has begun.
