FORUM SUMMARY: Property Situation: Carroll ISD is proposing to add additional parking spaces, a sidewalk, and an approximately 1,200 square foot storage structure at the transportation facility located at 1085 S. Kimball Ave. Development Details:  Transportation facility on south end of Dragon stadium  Adding pavement to store 18 additional bus parking spaces  Adding storage facility to store tires o This facility will help the tires remain safe from weather elements that could deteriorate them  East side – moving handicap spaces o Providing safe walkway from handicap spaces to the transportation facility  Schedule o SPIN – March 27, 2018 o Formal Submittal – April 2, 2018 o Planning and Zoning Meeting – April 19, 2018 o City Council Meeting (1st Reading) – May 1, 2018 o City Council Meeting (2nd Reading) – May 15, 2018 o Begin construction – May 30, 2018 Presentation: Questions and Concerns: 1. What is a speed table A: A speed table is a traffic calming device (speed bump), but it raises the sidewalk up to curb level and it has ramps on both ends. It allows car to know they are entering a pedestrian zone. 2. Does this speed table device have additional lighting? A: No it does not.
