Item 4G Resolution No 18-0201 RESOLUTION NO. 18-020 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING REPRESENTATIVES TO THE SOUTHLAKE 2035 CORRIDOR PLANNING COMMITTEE AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, a Home Rule Charter of the City of Southlake, Texas, was approved by the voters in a duly called Charter election on April 4, 1987; and, WHEREAS, the purpose of the committee, as the Southlake 2035 Corridor Planning Committee, is to meet with potential developers or owners of certain properties and develop land use recommendations for the development of the property that is consistent with the framework of the Southlake 2030/2035 Comprehensive plan; and WHEREAS, this committee will develop plan elements that will be presented to City Council after a recommendation from the Planning and Zoning Commission for consideration. WHEREAS, the motion approving this Resolution 18-020 is provided as Exhibit “A”. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. The Southlake 2035 Corridor Planning Committee will develop land use recommendations consistent with the framework of the Southlake 2030/2035 Comprehensive Plan. Section 2. All of the findings in the preamble are found to be true and correct and the City Council hereby incorporates said findings into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety. Section 3. The City Council hereby appoints the following members to the Southlake 2035 Corridor Planning Committee: Name: Council Member John Huffman Name: Planning and Zoning Commissioner Daniel Kubiak Section 4.
