A motion was made to approve ZA18 -029 as presented; subject to the Staff Report dated April 13, 2018; and further subject to the Site Plan Review Summary No. 2 dated April 13, 2018; specifically granting the requested variances relating to articulation, interior landscaping and bufferyards. Applicant’s, Hart Gaugler & Associates, and Carroll Independent School District, came forward to speak and to answer the Commission’s questions. Chairman Forman opened the public hearing. Jorge Jordan and Valerie Jordan, 1330 Village Green Drive, Southlake, Texas, came forward to speak and address their concerns with the Commission. James Callahan, 1305 Village Green Drive, Southlake, Texas, came forward to speak and address his concerns. Chairman Forman closed the public hearing. A motion was made to approve ZA18-033, as presented; subject to the Staff Report dated April 19, 2018 and Site Plan Review Summary No. 2, dated April 10, 2018; specifically granting the requested variances relating to any additional landscaping requirements and articulation requirements. Also, noting the ap plicant’s willingness to evaluate potential alternatives modifications to the proposed southern parking area in order to alleviate drainage concerns raised by adjacent neighbors.
