Presentation:
Questions and Concerns:
The neighborhood behind the baseball / softball complex would appreciate any
additional mitigation efforts to absorb sound and light from the stadium (i.e. tree
coverage / canopy). The less of an impact to the neighborhood, the better.
1. Will the existing seating elevation be increased as part of these renovations?
A: We will be adding bleachers to the sides of the field; however, the elevations will
remain the same
2. No plans to put in roadway / construction pathways along the track near Stoneridge
Lakes?
A: Correct, there are no plans to add roadway construction along the track area. We are
improving drainage efforts near the creek, but there will be no roadway or pathways
added for that construction
3. Will there be any efforts for mitigation for the homeowners that might be affected by
additional traffic / activity / construction sounds as a result of these renovations? (i.e.
trees, fencing, aesthetics, etc.)
A: We will have to discuss with the district about possible mitigation efforts. At this point
in time, we are focusing on modifying the existing facility, not adding to the capacity.
4. So the capacity for the facility will remain the same?
A: We are adding additional seating (bleachers); however, we are not altering the facility
significantly in terms of parking ratios.
5. With the additional bleacher seating, could this increase the capacity of the facility?
A: We are providing additional stands for the baseball field, and this could allow more
fans to attend the singular event.
6. How will you improve drainage along the back fence line?
A: Looking to add drain pipes to move moisture away from the area to eliminate ponding
and pooling of water. Drainage pipe will begin near the fence line by the baseball field
and extend towards the softball field
