0161-007ORDINANCE NO. 1 61 - 7 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF 4.1 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE SAMULE FREEMAN SUR- VEY, ABSTRACT NO. 525, OWNED BY CECIL MAX HINDS FROM "AG AGRICULTURAL DIS- TRICT" TO "H HEAVY COMMERCIAL DISTRICT" WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas, NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas: SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the 4.1 acre tract of land, more or less, owned by Cecil Max Hinds, out of the Samuel Freeman Survey, Abstract No. 525, Tarrant County, Texas, and more particularly described by metes arr3bounds as follows: BEGINNING at a point 302.2 feet East and 274.2 feet North of the Southeast corner of the T. Mahan Survey, and being 124.5 feet North of the West Northwest corner of a 1.754 acre tract described in deed from J. M. Mitchell and wife, Angie Mitchell to Wylie Allumbaugh, et ux, Helen, recorded in Vol. 3266, Page 285, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said point being the North ROW line of County Road #1709; THENCE with the ROW line of County Road #1709 as follows: NORTH 48 deg. and 22 min. East, 100 ft.; NORTH 41 deg. and 46 min. East, 100 ft.; NORTH 35 deg. and 37 min. East, 100 ft.; NORTH 29 deg. and 20 min. East, 1 00 ft.; NORTH 23 deg. and 01 min. East, 100 ft.; NORTH 16 deg. and 58 min. East, 100 ft.; ter. NORTH 9 deg. and 37 min. East, 100 ft., and North 3 deg. and 38 min. East, 149.3 feet to a point in the South line of State Highway 114; THENCE North 85 deg. and 37 min. West with the South line of State Highway 114; a distance of 344 feet; THENCE South 733 feet to the point of beginning and containing 4.23 acres of land, more or less, is changed from its prior zoning classification of "'AG' Agricultural District" to a zoning classification of "'H' Heavy Commercial District". SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this Ordinance No. 1 61 -7 and Ordinance Nos. 161-1 through -6, remains in effect in all other respects as orginally passed. This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
