AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY
AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF SIX ACRES OF LAND, MORE OR LESS,
OUT OF THE L. B. G. HALL SURVEY,
ABSTRACT NO. 686, OWNED BY D. G.
REAMES FROM "AG AGRICULTURAL DIS-
TRICT" TO "H HEAVY COMMERCIAL
DISTRICT"
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of
zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of
public hearing, notice of public hearing published, and
public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance
with Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW THEREFORE:
Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the
City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7,
1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is
hereby amended insofar as the six acres of land, more or
less, owned by D. G. Reames out of the L. B. G. Hall
Survey, Abstract No. 686, Tarrant County, Texas, bounded
on the South by F. M. Road 1709 and on the East by County
Road 3016 and more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:
Being the area 500 feet by 500 feet in
the southeast corner of the tract be-
ginning at an iron pin the West line of
County Road 3016, said point being 1578
feet South and 25 feet West of the North-
east corner of said L. B. G. Hall Survey;
THENCE South along said West line 1025.6
feet to an iron pin in the North R.O.W.
line of F. M. Road 1709, said point also
being on a curve;
THENCE Westerly along said curve to the
left that has a radius of 1284.2 feet a
distance of 165.1 feet to an iron pin at
its point of tangency;
THENCE South 83 degrees 24 minutes West
continuing along said North R.O.W. line
727.5 feet to an iron pin for corner at
the Southeast corner of a 10 acre tract;
THENCE North 01 degrees 10 minutes West
along the East line of said 10 acre
tract and along a fence 1116.6 feet to
an iron pin for corner;
THENCE North 89 degrees 57 minutes East
along a fence 910.5 feet to the point of
beginning containing in the whole tract
22.03 acres of land more or less,
is changed from its prior zoning classification of "'AG'
Agricultural District" to a zoning classification of "'H'
Heavy Commercial District".
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordi-
nance No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in
zoning classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended
by this Ordinance No. 161 -10 and Ordinances No. 161 -1
through -9, remains in effect in all other respects as
originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage
and any publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
