AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161
OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY ORIGINALLY
ZONING AS "AG" AGRICULTURE DISTRICT
PROPERTY ANNEXED INTO THE CITY, CONSIST-
ING OF FIFTY-TWO ACRES, MORE OR LESS,
OUT OF THE CHRISTOPHER DART AND W. H.
MARTIN SURVEYS.
WHEREAS, the hereinafter described property has been
duly annexed to the City of Southlake under applicable law;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of South-
lake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the
City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7,
1969, and being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is
hereby amended insofar as that certain tract of land out
of the Christopher Dart Survey, Abstract No. 2003, and the
W. H. Martin Survey, Abstract No. 1068, Tarrant County,
Texas, more fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a concrete monument 274.3 varas
West of the Northeast corner of the Christopher
Dary Survey and the Southeast corner of the C. M.
Throop Survey;
THENCE West along the north line of the Christ-
opher Dart Survey and the north line of the W.
H. Martin Survey 806.7 varas to a 10 inch Post
Oak tree in the east line of a road, from which
a concrete monument bears east 1.5 feet;
THENCE South 0 degrees 45 minutes east along the
east line of said road 365 varas to a concrete
monument;
THENCE East 801.9 varas to a conrete monument;
THENCE North 365 varas to the place of beginning,
containing 51.943 acres of land,
is hereby originally zoned in the classification of "AG"
Agriculture District.
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordi-
nance No. 161 is hereby amended to include the above new
property as originally zoned by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as officially
amended by prior ordinance amendments and this Ordinance
No. ff.- /Z, remains in effect in all other respects as
originally passed.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.
