FORUM SUMMARY:
Property Situation: An applicant is proposing the extension of the parking area, and addition of
seating and restrooms for Shuck Me located at 585 Randol Mill Ave.
Development Details:
Expand existing dining area to include warehouse storage unit to create more
seating for customers
o Expansion will include a new bar area, booths along the back wall,
additional bathroom, additional walk in freezer and an emergency exit
door
Extend parking lot east by 90ft to include more parking spaces
o No additional lighting for parking expansion
To combat drainage issues, developers want to raise extended parking to allow
rainwater to drain into existing storm drains on the west side of the property
Presentation:
Questions and Concerns:
1. Do you have a photometric plan to address if there is enough illumination on the
extended parking lot?
A: The photometric plan is currently being prepared.
2. Have you checked into needing a variance for impervious coverage?
A: Yes, we will need a variance to address traffic policy for our “half-moon” entrance and
exit because it does not meet requirements by the city at this time
