AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
N0. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE
BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFI-
CATION OF THREE ACRES OF LAND,
MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE S. FREE-
MAN SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 525,
FROM AG (AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO
F (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning,
notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing,
notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having
been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of
the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and
being the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended
insofar as the three acres of land, more or less, owned by Ben
W. Wiseman and Elizabeth Wiseman Brosseau, out of the S. Freeman
Survey, Abstract No. 525, Tarrant County, Texas, more particu-
larly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin on the East Row of
County Road #3119. Said point being the SW
corner of a tract of land, D. L. Watkins to J.
R. Alexander as described in Vol. 2999 - Pg.
609 DRTCT.
THENCE along said Road SO-14E - 116.181 to a
State Highway monument for corner.
THENCE 543-33E - 109.77' to a highway monu-
ment for corner.
THENCE along the north ROW of State Highway
114 - 586-37E 399.73' to a highway monument for
corner.
THENCE continuing along said highway S86-25E-
21-14' to a highway monument for corner, same
point being the SWC of a tract of land W. 0.
Werley to Joe Wright as described in Vol. 4525
Pg. 833 DRTCT.
THENCE N02-42E 88.92' to an iron pin for corner,
same point being the NWC of said Wright property.
THENCE N2-24E 139.14 to an iron pin for corner
in the S line of a tract of land D. L. Watkins
to Ray Dunn, Vol. 2775-Pg. 55, DRTCT.
THENCE along said Dunn line 588-50W 178' to the
SEC of said Alexander tract and the SWC of said
Dunn tract in all 647.75' to POB containing
2.824 acres, more or less
is changed from its prior zoning classification of Ag (Agri-
culture) District to a zoning classification of F (Light
Industrial) District
SECTION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance No.
161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classifica-
tion made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by this
Ordinance No. 161-30 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in
effect in all other respects as originally passed. This ordinance
shall take effect upon its passage.
