0161-079 ORDINANCE NO. 161-79 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF 77.904 ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE THOMAS BEEDY SURVEY ABSTRACT NO. 72, ALL SITUATED IN TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS AND OWNED BY JAMES B. STAHALA. FROt'-1 "AG AGRICULTURAL DISTRACT" TO ZONING CLASSIFICATION "A-3" ONE FAMILY DISTRICT, PROVIDING FOR CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMEN Dt1ENT. WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given to applicable property owners of public hearinqs, notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance 161 of the City of Southlake,Texas, NOli THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas: ~------ The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the SECTION 1. City of Southlake,Texas, January 7,1969, and being the "Comnrehensive Zoning Ordinance 11 is hereby amended insofar as the 77.904 acres of land, more or less, owned by James B. Stahala, is hereby changed from the zoning classification of "AG Agricultural District" to zoning classification "A-3 One Family District". The tract of land out of the Thomas Beedy Survey, Abstract No. 72, Described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the south1ine of Roanoke Road: thence south 01 degrees 53 minutes 10 seconds west along the west line of Jimeson Fowler Road. South east along said south land of Roanoke Dove Road. Northeast along a fence and the most easterly west line of said Thompson tract, 565.68 feet to an iron rod for corner, same being the corner of the most northerly south line and most easterly west line of said ThompsorJ tract. Thence North along the east line of Sam School Road. 1056.79 feet to an iron rod for corner same being the intersection of the south line of Roanoke Dove Road with said East line of Sam School Road. SECTION 2. The Official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance 161 is hereby ---- amended to include the zoning change made by this ordinance in connection with the property described in Section 1, and made a part hereof. SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as officially amended by prior --~~--- ordinance amendments and this Ordinance No. 161-79 remains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
