ORDINANCE NO. 261-10
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 OF THE
CITY OF SOUTIILAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF EIGHT POINT FIFTY-THREE
(8.53) ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE SAMUEL FREEMAN SURVEY.
ALSO DESCRIBED AS LOT 1C and 2A OF THE MAYFIELD ADDITION.
OWNER: JAMES B. BROWN. ZONING CHANGE FROM AGRICULTURAL
TO "H" HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT. PROVIDING
FOR A CHANGE IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP......
AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DA'L'E OF AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt for change of zoning, notice given to
applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public
hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted,
all in compliance with Ordinance No. 261 of the City of South-
lake, 'T'exas,
NOW 'T'HEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City
of Southlake, Texas:
SFCT'ION 1. The Certain Ordinance No. 261 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, March 3,1981, and being
the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar
as the Eight point Fifty-Three (8.53) acre tract of land out
of the Samuel Freeman Survey. Also described as Lot 1C and 2A
of the Mayfield Addition.
and described by metes and hounds as per Zoning Action Number 22 _
is changed from its prior zoning classification of Agricultural-
to a zoning classification of H" Heavy Commercial---
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 261
is Tiery amended to reflect the change in zoning classification
made by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 261, except as amended by this
Ordinance No. 261-10 remains in effect in all other
'respects as originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any
publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
