ORDINANCE NO. 261-11
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 261 OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF .....FORTY-SIX POINT EIGHT,SIX
SEVEN (46.867) ACRES OF LAND OUT OF THE THOMAS
EASTER SURVEY, ABSTRACT 474 AND HEIRS OF A FOSTER
SURVEY, ABSTRACT 518. CHANGING THE ZONING FROM
AGRICULTURAL TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONING DISTRICT.
PROVIDING FOR A CHANGE TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
AND PROVIDING EFFECTIVE DATE OF AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, after receipt for change of zoning, notice given to
applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public
hearing published, and public hearing having been conducted,
all in compliance with Ordinance No. 261 of the City of South-
lake, Texas,
NOW THEREFORE: Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City
of Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The Certain Ordinance No. 261 passed by the City
Councilncil the City of Southlake, Texas, March 3,1981, and being
the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar
as the Forty-six point eiaht,six, seven (46.867) acre tract of
land out of the Thomas Easter Survey, Abstract 474 and Heirs of
A. Foster Survey, Abstract 518.
and described by metes and hounds as per Zoning Action Number _8_1-23
is changed from its prior zoning classification of Agricultural
to a zoning classification of LIght Industrial Zoning District
SECTION 2. The official zoning map created by said Ordinance No. 261
is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification
made by this ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 261, except as amended by this
Ordinance No. 261-11 , remains in effect in all other
respects as originally passed.
This Ordinance shall take effect after its passage and any
publication or posting, if any, as required by law.
