1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Forman called the regular session to order at 6:30 p.m.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION
No Executive Session held.
3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES
A motion was made to approve the minutes from the February 8, 2018 Planning and
Zoning meeting.

4. CONSIDER ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS
Chairman Forman asked Deputy Director, Dennis Killough, if there were any
administrative comments.
Deputy Director, Dennis Killough, announced that there will be a meet the Mayor event
this evening at 503 West Southlake Blvd.
Deputy Director announced that there will be a meet the Mayor event March 22, 2018,
located at 2835 Exchange Blvd., also announcing another meet the Mayor event March
29, 2018, located at 321 Grand Avenue West, and a Corridor Planning Committee
Meeting held on March 1, 2018, at 5:30.
REGULAR AGENDA:
5. CONSIDER: RESOLUTION NO. 18-007 (ZA18-005), SPECIFIC USE PERMIT TO
OPERATE AS A BAR OR TAVERN FOR THE GINGER MAN ON PROPERTY
DESCRIBED AS LOT 3R, BLOCK 22, SOUTHLAKE TOWN SQUARE ADDITION,
AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS
AND LOCATED AT 1512 E. SOUTHLAKE BLVD., SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS.
CURRENT ZONING: "DT" DOWNTOWN DISTRICT. SPIN NEIGHBORHOOD #8.
PUBLIC HEARING
Chairman Forman called for the applicant to come forward to speak.
Applicant, Steve Schiff, Co-Owner of The Ginger Man, Houston, Texas, came forward
to answer the Commission’s questions.
Chairman Forman asked the applicant if they had any issues with code enforcement or
police.
Applicant stated that they have not had any issues with code enforcement or police.
Commissioner Springer asked what the term of the new lease is.
Applicant stated that the new term lease is for 7 years.
Chairman Forman opened the public hearing.
No one came forward to speak.
Chairman Forman closed the public hearing.
A motion was made to approve ZA18 -005 subject to the Staff Report dated February
16, 2018, and the term of the lease and extensions of the lease.
