Dear Mayor and Council,
Please see the attached opposition form and opposition presentation explaining my opposition to tomorrows ZA17-064
Stony Brook item (Agenda Item 7A). I personally believe the development is a beautiful design, however the approval
of the development does pose questions resulting in my opposition.
1. Rezoning of one residence of a neighborhood, reducing established Brock Addition by approx. 42%
2. Rezoning of one residence in Brock Addition will change the footprint of Brock substantially to benefit another
neighborhood
3. How does ZA17-064 rezoning of a single lot differ from previous rezoning attempts in 2017 (SF-1A to SF-20A)?
a. Was resident of lot 5 resident aware of SF-1A zoning when property was purchased 30 years ago?
4. Is there an option to develop Stony Trails without including Brock Addition to remain aligned with councils recent
views?
