SB - SV18-001 DemonstrationDemonstration Pleased emonstrate that the following conditions are applicable to the requested sign variance: That a literal enforcement of the sign regulation will create an unnecessary hardship or practical difficulty on the applicant. With the literal enforcement of the sign regulation, there would be no visability of the sign from Southlake Blvd making it difficult for customers to find the business. Business would not received the marketing benefit of their sign and would inconvenience customers who are unable to find them. 2. That the situation causing the unnecessary hardship or practical difficulty is unique to the affected property and is not self imposed. Most businesses have signs that provide visability to the blvd/street/road they are located on and therefore are not affected by this situation. 3. That the variance will not injure and will be wholly compatible with the use and permitted development of adjacent properties. This variance is approved by the landlord and developer. As you can see in the drawing it is similar to the other sign on the building and would be both visable and intuiative to the customers looking for this business. 4. That the variance will be in harmony with the spirit and purpose of the sign ordinance. Other than the location on the building, this variance complies with the SL sign ordinance.
