Dear Planning and Zoning,
We are submitting the attached Specific Use Permit for Outdoor Sales and Services for
the properties at1604 N. Kimball Ave, 2180 and 2190 E Dove Rd in Southlake, Texas.
We are requesting approval to place a mobile food vending vehicle (Food Trailer) at the
Yates Corner Grocery property at the corner of Dove Road and Kimball Ave.
We are requesting to place the Food Trailer on Yates Corner Grocery property a
maximum of 5 days per week. The operating hours will be between 7am and 9pm. We
are requesting approval for 1 year.
Within the package you will note that we have identified additional overflow parking
within the adjacent property should this be required. The majority of our patrons will be
transient in nature similar to the typical Yates Corner Store patrons. From a traffic
perspective, we expect to capture patrons from the existing vehicular traffic at the Dove
and Kimball intersection.
We have also identified a portion of the lawn where patrons may stay to dine on their
meal. Minimal seating will be provided within the lawn area. Also note that we have
identified two potential locations for the Food Trailer for consideration.
We have identified a location for a temporary banner sign which will be in place only
during operating hours.
