AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161
OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY AMENDING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF TWENTY ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE L. B. G.
HALL SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 686, FROM AG
DISTRICT TO A-3(RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT
WITH VARIANCE FROM CURBS AND GUTTERS.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning,
notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing,
notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having
been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161 of
the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain ordinance No. 161 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and
being the "COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE" is hereby amended
insofar as the twenty acres of land, more or less, owned by
Love-Henry & Associates, Inc., out of the L. B. G. Hall Survey,
Abstract No. 686, Tarrant County, Texas more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin in the East line of said
40 acre tract, said pin being 475.2 varas West and
185.1 feet South of the Northeast corner of said
Hall Survey, same point also the Northeast corner
of a 20.0 acre tract conveyed to J. Holliday by B.
Knox described in Volume 4831, Page 957, Deed
Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 89 degrees 54 feed West along common
line of said Howard and Holliday Property, 1302.9
feet to an iron pin for corner in the East Right
of Way of County Road #3123;

Southlake, Texas:

THENCE South along said road Right of Way
and fence line, 665.30 feet to an iron pin
for corner, being the Northwest corner of
a 5 acre tract conveyed to M. Wayland by
B. Knox described in Volume 4852, Page 393,
Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 89 degrees 24 feet East 1313.0
feet to an iron pin for corner, being the
Northeast corner of said Wayland tract and
East line of said Howard tract described in
Volume 1810, Page 24, Deed Records, Tarrant
County, Texas;
THENCE North 0 degrees 25 feet West along
said Howard East line, 356.1 feet to an iron
pin for corner;
THENCE continuing along same line, North 01
degrees 28 feet West 297.9 feet to the Point
of Beginning and containing 19.83 acres of land
is changed from its prior zoning classification of AG District
to a zoning classification of A-3 (Residential) District, with
a variance from curbs and gutters.
SECTION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance
No. 161 is hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning
classification made by this Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as amended by
this Ordinance No. 161-35 and prior ordinance amendments, re-
mains in effect in all other respects as originally passed.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.
