Work Session called to order by Mayor Hill at 5:30pm.

Associate Pastor Marsia Van Wormer gave the invocation. Mayor Hill led the pledges
of allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags. Mayor Hill thanked Pastor Van
Wormer for her efforts in bringing members of the faith -based community, local
philanthropers, and city leaders together to build relationships and respond to the
community's needs.
3. DISCUSS RESIDENTIAL UNITS USED AS SHORT TERM RENTALS (STIRS)
Senior Director of Planning and Development Services Ken Baker presented Work
Session Item 3 and answered questions from Council.

4. COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT COMMITTEE ANNUAL UPDATE
Assistant to the City Manager Lauren LaNeave introduced Community Engagement
Committee Chairman Ben Siebach, who presented Work Session Item 4 and answered
questions from Council.
5. HONORS AND RECOGNITION — VETERANS DAY PROCLAMATION
Mayor Hill presented the proclamation to Public Works Director Rob Cohen, who
accepted on behalf of city staff.
6. DISCUSS ALL ITEMS ON TONIGHT'S AGENDA. NO ACTION WILL BE
TAKEN AND EACH ITEM WILL BE CONSIDERED DURING THE REGULAR
SESSION.
Mayor Hill welcomed Ms Kathy Talley, who presented an overview of the upcoming 19th
Annual Art in the Square event on April 27-29, 2018. This year's theme is `Create,
Connect, and Care'.

Mayor Hill announced the City Council would go into Executive Session pursuant to the
Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.072
deliberation regarding real property, and 551.087 deliberation regarding economic
development negotiations. City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 6:44pm.
Executive Session began at 6:57pm and concluded at 7:47pm.

3131. LEAF RECYCLING PROGRAM KICKOFF
City Manager Shana Yelverton introduced Assistant to the City Manager Lauren
LaNeave, who provided information on the Leaf Recycling Program. There are five
dates confirmed for residents to recycle leaf collection, as follows: November 22,
December 6, December 30, January 10, and January 17.
3132. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Mayor Hill welcomed Community Relations Manager Jenni Lanier, who presented
information on the Home for the Holiday event on November 18t", from 4:30pm to
8:30pm, at Town Hall.

skirting of the trailers (excluding entrances).
- Also noting, approval of the existing Rendition Homes construction trailer on site
for a period of two (2) years.
- Approval of up to seven (7) construction trailers associated with the Parkview
Residence construction project for a period of two (2) years and limiting the

square feet.

- Driveway Ordinance No. 634 requires this site to have a minimum of 28 feet of
stacking depth onto the site. Council is approving the applicant's request for a
minimum of 16 feet. The driveway labeled as Drive `A' on the site plan has a
stacking depth of approximately 23 feet and the driveway labeled as Drive `B' has
a stacking depth of approximately 16 feet.
- Driveway Ordinance No. 634 requires this site to have a minimum of 100 feet of
spacing from the driveway centerline to the intersecting right of way line. Council
