CALL TO ORDER Chairman Beverly Blake called the meeting of the Senior Advisory Commission to order at 1:00 p.m. New Senior Advisory Commission members David Barnes and Kathryn Orler were introduced and welcomed to the Commission. 2. PUBLIC FORUM — Chair Beverly Blake opened Public Forum. Patty Howell, 625 Southview Trail, Southlake, expressed concerns regarding proposed membership fees for The Marq Southlake Champions Club in comparison with other cities' membership fees. Bernie McCauley, 900 Wild Wood, Southlake, former Senior Advisory Commission member, spoke about her application to the Commission; the parking lot sizes at The Marq; guest speakers for Commission meetings; and membership fee charges to Champions Club for current Senior Center members. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the minutes of September 12, 2017 meeting as presented. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE OCTOBER 10, 2017 REGULAR SENIOR ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING. There were no corrections or changes presented for the October 10, 2017 meeting minutes. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the minutes of October 10, 2017 meeting as presented. ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR SENIOR ADVISORY COMMISSION Chair Beverly Blake entertained nominations to elect a Chair, Vice Chair and Secretary for the Senior Advisory Commission. The officer positions were voted upon separately. APPROVED A motion was made to elect Beverly Blake to the Chair position.
