1972-019 Resolution160 RESOLUTION NO. 72-19 WHEREAS, it is necessary and expedient for the best interests of the citizens of the City of Southlake that a new patrol car be purchased for the Police Department at this time; And WHEREAS, the purchase of a new patrol car is provided for in the 1972-72 Budget now in effect; And WHEREAS, six automobile dealers were invited to submit bids to the City of Southlake on a patrol car according to the specifications set forth by the City; And WHEREAS, three of said dealers responded with the following prices: Payton-Wright - $3,554.67; Charlie Hillard, Inc. - $3,584.80, Ted ArB~dale Ford - $3,667.95; Now THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: The lowest bid of $3,554.67, submitted by Payton-Wright Ford Sales, Inc., of Grapevine, Texas, be accepted for the purchase of a 1973 patrol car. PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of October, 1972. ATTEST: City Secretary Mayor
