Items 4D, 4E & 4F Approval of Facilities Utilization Agreements Items 4D, 4E, 4F Good evening Mayor and members of the City Council. This is Candice Edmondson and I am presenting items 4D, 4E and 4F for your consideration. 1 City Council approval on FUA’s: Dragon Youth Baseball Southlake Girls Softball Association Miracle League of Southlake Requested Action With this item staff is seeking City Council approval on Facilities Utilization Agreements with Dragon Youth Baseball, Southlake Girls Softball Association and Miracle League of Southlake for years 2018 – 2019. 2 Background Information City partners with Southlake youth athletic associations to provide programs for residents Use of City fields authorized through FUA Separate agreement with each association No proposed changes to the 2018-2019 FUA Each year the City partners with several athletic associations to provide youth athletic programming to the Southlake community. The City holds separate Facilities Utilization Agreements with each youth athletic association participating in the use of City-owned fields and facilities.   The proposed FUA is the same agreement previously approved by City Council in 2016, which included the “Policy for Provision of Athletic Facilities.” There are no changes recommended for the 2018-2019 FUA. 3 Terms: DYB: January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2019 SGSA: January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2019 MLS: January 1, 2018 – December 31, 2019 Field Maintenance Fees: Southlake Resident $12 per player, per season Non-Resident $17 per player, per season *Field Maintenance Fees waived for MLS FUA Terms & Fees The proposed FUAs with Dragon Youth Baseball, Southlake Girls Softball Association and Miracle League of Southlake are for 2-yr terms Field maintenance fees agreed upon by representatives from each of the associations are $12 per player for Southlake Residents and $17 per player for Non-Residents for both Dragon Youth Baseball and Southlake Girls Softball Association. Maintenance fees for Miracle League of Southlake have been waived since participants are not charged registration fees.
