1972-002 Resolution RESOLUTION 72-2
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
An election is hereby called to elect three councilmen
to Places 3, 4 and 5, to serve until April of 1974, and
until their successors are duly elected and qualified. Such
election shall be held at the City Hall of the City of
Southlake, Texas, on the 1st day of April, 1972, from 7:00
A.M. until 7:00 o'clock P.M.
Any qualified person may file as a candidate by filing
his application in the office of the City Secretary on or
Before March 1, 1972.
Absentee voting shall co~aence'~in the office of the
City Secretary at eight o'clock A.M. on March 12, 1972, and
shall close at five o'clock P.M. on March 28, 1972.
The following persons shall be the officers who shall
conduct the election:
Elsie McAlister~ Judge
James Winfre,y~ Assistant Judge
and such other eligible persons as clerks that the election
judge shall appoint.
The election shall be conducted according to the election
laws of the State of Texas.
