Development Details: • Verizon Wireless is requesting a 5-year Specific Use Permit (SUP) for construction trailers at a new location • These are existing construction trailers wrapped with a tree-like material • Current location of the trailers is at the north end of the facility • Proposed relocation is over by SH 114 • There would be a concreate pad and lay down yards beside it to put equipment and materials – this would be behind a screen fence • The construction parking would be right beside the construction trailers • Plan is to add additional landscaping between SH 114 and the trailers to minimize the appearance of it from SH 114 • The only part that is not really wrapped are the windows and AC units • Neighbors have indicated they would prefer the trailers away from their neighborhood where they cannot see them • Reason for the trailers is due to ongoing construction inside the facility • Verizon is requesting a 5-year SUP because they would like to put in a permanent construction facility and design that as part of a planned expansion to the facility • Current SUP will expire December 31, 2017 – once this expires trailers would need to be removed Exhibits presented at SPIN: QUESTIONS / CONCERNS: • None SPIN Meeting Reports are general observations of SPIN Meetings by City staff and SPIN Representatives.
