Proposed Sign Details
Current 704-I regulations
Per Ordinance
Dark metal finish on sign face to match architectural and landscape elements throughout the site. Raised text to be white, green to match TD Ameritrade brand color (PMS 361).
• The
proposed sign design has a larger sign face than allowable per the sign ordinance in order to accommodate directional information for both the visitor parking area as well as deliveries.
This simple design aesthetic as shown is concurrent with the TD Ameritrade brand and will be carried into the interior signage set. TD Ameritrade is a modern technology company that
needs to reflect a clean, contemporary image.
• The ‘per sign ordinance’ design does not allow for more than one arrow per side and the design does not fit within TD Ameritrade overall
design aesthetic which relates to the shape of the green ‘TD’ box and is concurrent with the interior signage design. Additionally, the landscaping and site is very natural and tone-on-tone
with copious amounts of natural stone material. The desire for these signs is to help drivers quickly and easily understand directions therefore should stand out from the background
environment for legibility.

Response to Sign Board Recommendations
Alternate Design A maintains the larger sign face per the proposed design, but incorporates a 6” stone base to better fit the sign ordinance guidelines without a full masonry surround.
Alternate Design B follows the sign ordinance requirements for sign face square footage but incorporates a 6” stone base instead of a full 6” masonry surround.
