Monument Signs - Main Entry
• Halo-lit TD Ameritrade Logo mounted to face of main entry stone monument (see key plan on next
page). All monuments included in Landscape Architect’s scope were previously approved by city.
• Halo-lit metal address located in upper corner of monument face. Dark metal finish to match
architectural and landscape elements throughout the site.
• Logo and address appear on both sides of stone monument as shown below. Total sign face area
(includes both sides) is 170 square feet for all monuments.

Fine Grading Plan
• The Sign Ordinance allows for 1 monument sign per street front with a
maximum of 2 per site. Due to the size of the site and distance between
extrances on Kirkwood Blvd, the proposed plan shows 3 monument signs to
successfully guide visitors and employees into the site.
• The proposed monument signage width and sign face are both larger than
allowed by the sign ordinance in order to better accomodate both the TD
Ameritrade logo and the required address. Due to logo proportions, placement
on a monument that follows the ordinance would be much smaller and
therefore less visable visitors and employees.
• Please refer to the supplemental Sign Ordinance Set which shows the
monument signs located and sized according to ordinance guidelines.

Site Automobile Directional
• Dark metal finish to match architectural and landscape elements throughout the site.
Raised text to be white, green to match PMS 361
• Proposed sign design meets all design requirements set forth in the sign ordinance under
directional signage, except for sign face square footage and 6” of masonry sign structure
surrounding the sign face. The proposed sign has a larger sign face to integrate with the
TD Ameritrade brand standards and aesthetic. This simple design aesthetic as shown is
concurrent with the TD Ameritrade brand and will be carried into the interior signage set.
• Proposed number of directional signs (3) exceeds the sign ordinance limit of (2), however
the additional directional is needed due to the large size of the site and because there are
(3) entries into the site. Please see locations and text layouts on next page for justification.
• Please refer to the supplemental Sign Ordinance Set which shows the sign sized
according to ordinance guidelines.

Welcome SignD
• Dark metal finish to match architectural and landscape elements throughout the site.
Raised text to be white (exact content TBD but will be similar to text shown), green to
match PMS 361
• This proposed sign type is not specifically outlined in the sign ordinance, however we
have been instructed to treat it as a directory sign. It is proposed to help visitors to the
site know that they are heading in the right direction as they travel the length of the
main entry drive (TD Ameritrade Lane).
• As proposed, this sign meets all design requirements set forth in the sign ordinance
under directory signage, except for 6” of masonry sign structure surrounding the sign
face. The proposed sign is designed with limited materials to integrate with the TD
Ameritrade brand standards and aesthetic. This simple design aesthetic as shown is
concurrent with the TD Ameritrade brand and will be carried into the interior signage
set.
• Please refer to the supplemental Sign Ordinance Set which shows the sign sized
according to ordinance guidelines.
