Applicant, Drew Hayes, 3701 Marchwood Drive, Richardson, TX, gave a brief presentation and answered questions of the proposed Site Plan. Commission discussed their concerns with the applicant. A motion was made to approve Item ZA17-055 subject to Staff Report dated July 28, 2017 and Site Plan Review Summary No. 2, dated July 28, 2017 specifically noting that the masonry variance requested to allow the steel columns is not granted, further noting the applicant's willingness to bring forward to Council a couple of different renderings showing compliance with the ordinance or a rendering that more closely matches the exterior of the existing columns that are on the building.
