non-agenda items. During this proceeding, the Board will not discuss,
consider or take action on any items presented. We respectfully ask that
anyone stepping forward to speak during Public Forum to limit remarks to
three minutes or less.)
3. Consider:
A. Approve minutes from the May 15, 2017 Crime Control and Prevention
District Board meetings.
B. Approval of amended Fiscal Year 2017 Crime Control and Prevention
District Operating Budget and adoption of Fiscal Year 2018 Crime Control
and Prevention District Operating Budget. PUBLIC HEARING
C. Award construction services contract to HCI General Contractors in an
amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the Southlake DPS West-
Renovations project.
4. Discussion:
A. Update on Crime Control and Prevention District Sales Tax.
B. Update on School Resource Officer program.
5. Meeting adjourned.

Motion Sandow made a motion to approve the amended FY 2017 CCPD operating
budget and to adopt the FY 2018 CCPD operating budget.

3C. AWARD CONSTRUCTION SERVICES CONTRACT TO HCI GENERAL CONTRACTORS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
Vow EXCEED $2,000,000 FOR THE SOUTHLAKE DPS WEST RENOVATIONS PROJECT. APPROVED 6-0
Discussion took place about the contractor's bids, HCI General Contractors and bay door
replacement.
Questions were addressed by Chief Starr and Ben Thatcher
Motion Sandow made a motion to award a construction services contract to HCI General
Contractors in an amount not to exceed $2,000,000 for the Southlake DPS West
renovations project.

4. DISCUSSION:
4A. UPDATE ON CRIME CONTROL& PREVENTION DISTRICT SALES TAX
Sharen Jackson reviewed the sales tax handout. She informed the Board that May sales tax
collections surpassed what was estimated and that this year's collections are trending above
last year's collections

4B. UPDATE ON SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER PROGRAM
.m Chief Brandon informed the Board that there is a vacancy at Carroll Elementary The hiring
process for a new SRO has begun but the position will not be filled prior to the beginning of the
school year As in the past, the SROs will cover the vacancy at Carroll Elementary until it is
filled
