Southlake Carroll Lacrosse Association for an amount not to exceed
$85,000 for the construction of a wall ball court at North Park
B. Recommendation on the purchase and installation of a pavilion at the Bob
Jones Nature Center & Preserve from InSite Amenities, through the
BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract, for an amount not to exceed
$95,000
C. Consider cancellation of the July Southlake Parks Development
Corporation meeting.

LPresident Randy Williamson opened the public forum. There being no one wishing to speak,
President Williamson closed the public forum.
4. CONSIDER
4A. RECOMMENDATION ON SPDC MATCHING FUNDS PROJECT REQUEST FROM
SOUTHLAKE CARROLL LACROSSE ASSOCIATION FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $85,000 FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A WALL BALL COURT AT
NORTH PARK.

Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented Item 4A and answered questions from
the Board. President of the Southlake Carroll Lacrosse Association Matt Deno answered
questions from the Board.
A motion was made to recommend City Council approval of SPDC Matching Funds project
request from Southlake Carroll Lacrosse Association for an amount not to exceed $85,000 for
the construction of a wall ball court at North Park.

4B. RECOMMENDATION ON THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A PAVILION
AT THE BOB JONES NATURE CENTER & PRESERVE FROM INSITE AMENITIES,
THROUGH THE BUYBOARD COOPERATIVE PURCHASING CONTRACT FOR AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $95,000.

Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented Item 4B and answered questions from
the Board. Bob Jones Nature Center Executive Director Lori Higgins answered questions from
the Board.
A motion was made to recommend City Council approval of the purchase and installation of a
pavilion at the Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve from InSite Amenities, through the
BuyBoard Cooperative purchasing contract for an amount not to exceed $95,000, and noting
the following:
• Providing staff to administratively approve the addition of electrical and fans, and
• Providing that staff determine the feasibility and functionality of the fireplace and
administratively approve the repair, extension, or removal of said fireplace.

Council cancellations of meetings in July.
