FORUM SUMMARY :
Proposal Details:
• Amendment to the Southlake 2030 Mobility Master Plan
• Recommendations addressing bicycle mobility and intersection capacity improvements
• Amend Active Transportation Recommendations to include items AT14 – AT24 and
associated priority tiers
• Amend the Bicycle Facility Master Plan Map and Bicycle Facility Master Plan
Recommendations as follows:
o Remove the existing Tier 2 sharrow route from Kirkwood Blvd.;
o Reprioritize the existing Tier 1 signed route along Kirkwood Blvd. to a Tier 3
signed route noting that the completion of this recommendation is contingent
upon private development of Kirkwood Blvd per the Mobility Master Plan;
o Revise the existing Tier 1 signed route currently shown along N. Kimball Ave.
between Kirkwood and Dove to extend from N. Kimball Ave. between Dove and
1709;
o Remove the Tier 1 signed route between Continental Blvd. and S.H. 26 on S.
Kimball Ave.;
o Add a Tier 1 signed + sharrow route between 1709 and S.H. 26 on S. Kimball
Ave.; and
o Change the existing recommendation on Dove Rd. between Westlake city limits
and Grapevine city limits from a Tier 1 signed route to a Tier 1 signed + sharrow
route.
• Remove the Priority Intersections list (pages 83-84 in the Southlake 2030 Mobility
Master Plan, Ord. 1075) as well as the Priority Crosswalk Intersection Reference Map
(Page 85)
• Amend the Mobility Master Plan to include the 87 proposed Intersection Capacity
Improvement Recommendations and associated priority tiers
• Reprioritize the priority tier for existing recommendation MT3 from Tier 2 to a Tier 3

Continental Blvd and S Peytonville Ave Roundabout
This project involves the design and construction of a roundabout at the Continental Boulevard
and S Peytonville Avenue intersection. The funding request includes drainage improvements.
Funding does not include burying of the utilities. The funding request also includes landscaping,
irrigation, electrical work, and art for the roundabout.
