Chairman Forman called the regular session to order at 6:30 p.m.

No Executive session held.

A motion was made to approve the minutes from the February 23, 2016 meeting.

4. ADMINISTRATIVE COMMENTS
Dennis Killough, Deputy Director, announced an even “Corridor Planning Committee
Meeting” on March 22nd 2017 at 6:00 p.m. located at the City Town Hall Training
Rooms.
Dennis Killough, Deputy Director announced a second event “Meet the Mayor” located
at the Scratch Kitchen, 2125 Southlake Blvd. on March 23 rd 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30
p.m.
Chairman Forman announced that both Items 5 and 6 would be discussed together.

Principal Planner, David Jones, presented Items CP17-001 and ZA17-015, and gave a
brief overview of the proposed land use.

Applicant, Martin Schelling 260 Miron Drive Southlake TX- Spoke of the future proposed
project.
Applicant opened for questions.
Commission asked if applicant preferred to have berm landscape or hedge landscape.
Applicant stated that the berm has issues sustaining water and would much prefer the
hedge landscape.
Commission asked the applicant if there was any way to add some additional design to
the dumpster area to match the material of the building.
Applicant stated that the dumpster does have the same material as the building with
additional landscape.
Chairman Forman opened the public hearings for both items 5 & 6.
Chairman Forman closed the public hearings for both items 5 & 6.
A motion was made to approve Item CP17-001 subject to the Staff Report dated March
3, 2017.

A motion was made to approve Item No. ZA17 -015 as presented subject to Staff Report
dated March 3, 2017 and Site Plan Review Summary #2 dated March 3, 2017,
specifically noting approval of the variance requested with respect to the driveway
ordinance.
