EXECUTIVE
SUMMARY: DeOtte Inc. is requesting approval of a Plat Extension for the Kingdom Place Plat
Revision to extend the validity of the plat for one year to February 16, 2018 on
property described as Lot 9, F. Throop No. 1511 Addition, an addition to the City
of Southlake, Tarrant County, Texas and Tracts 2 and 2L, Francis Throop Survey,
Abstract No. 1511, City of Southlake,Tarrant County Texas and located at 2080,2117
and 2150 E. Dove Rd., Southlake, Texas. SPIN Neighborhood #4.
REQUEST
DETAILS: The applicant is requesting approval of a Plat Extension for the Plat Revision for
Kingdom Place, which includes 9 residential lots and two open space lots on
approximately 11.437 acres. The Plat Revision for Kingdom Place was approved by
City Council on February 16, 2016. A Plat Revision which has not been recorded with
the County within one year of approval shall expire. The current expiration date is
February 16, 2017. The applicant is requesting an additional one year extension to
February 16, 2018.
If approved by City Council on February 7, 2017 the following expiration date shall be
adopted:

CURRENT ZONING: "SF-1A" Single Family Residential District
HISTORY: - The property was annexed into the City in 1957 and given the "AG"
Agricultural District zoning designation.
-The"SF-1A"Single Family Residential zoning designation was placed on the
property with the adoption of Zoning Ordinance No.480 and the official zoning
map in September of 1989.
-A Plat Showing for Lot 9, F.Throop No 1511 Addition was filed July 28, 1998.
- The existing home on Lot 9, F.Throop No. 1511 Addition was constructed in
1998 (Source: Tarrant Appraisal District).
- A Preliminary Plat for Kingdom Place (ZA15-116) was approved by City
Council on November 17, 2015.
-A Plat Revision for Kingdom Place(ZA16-001)was approved by City Council
on February 16, 2016.

RE. Kingdom Place Plat Extension Request
Dear Mr. Baker,
On behalf of the property owners of Kingdom Place, I respectfully request for a
Plat Extension, and request that the validity of Case No ZA16-001, Plat Revision
for Kingdom Place Addition, be extended for an additional 12 months from the
date of expiration of the plat from February 16, 2017 to February 16, 2018
The project has been delayed and construction has not been initiated yet
