Vice President Gary Fawks called the meeting to order at 4:30pm.

Development Corporation meeting.

Vice President Gary Fawks opened the public forum. There being no one wishing to speak,
Vice President Gary Fawks closed the public forum.

5. DISCUSSION
5A. MATCHING FUNDS PROJECT REQUEST FROM SOUTHLAKE CARROLL
LACROSSE ASSOCIATION
Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented the project and funds request from the
Southlake Lacrosse Association. Concept plans were presented for discussion purposes only.
Girls' Athletic Director James Walton and Girls' Head Coach Faith Renner answered questions
from the Board. Design and project costs were discussed at length. The Board asked staff to
investigate engineering, design materials (including type of wall, lighting, and turf), alternate
locations, and possible sponsorship and fundraising efforts. Vice President Gary Fawks stated
the Board generally supports the project but cannot make a recommendation without more
data, specifically with respect to funding.
