Please accept this letter as a request for a variance for City Case #ZA16-078. We are
requesting a Variance to the Subdivision Ordinance Section 5.06(2)B, Article V “Street
and Right of Way”.
We are requesting the variance because this property is at the end of a cul-de-sac on a
one-street neighborhood with no such similar improvements on the rest of the street
and essentially no side walk connectivity to other streets or neighborhoods.

We are requesting a Variance to the Subdivision Ordinance Section 8.01D Article VIII
“General Requirements” regarding lot lines on cul-de-sacs be radial to the right of way
line.
Please see the image below showing the requested “East-West lot line” versus the “radial
lot line”. It is our position the East-West line allows for a more appealing and functional
lot configuration and would have no negative effect on any other parties.
