FORUM SUMMARY:
Property Situation:
Property is situated at 351 State Street.
Details:
The City of Southlake is proposing to install two (2) electric vehicle charging spaces to
be located in the West Garage of Southlake Town Square on the first floor. Details are available
in the presentation.
The City will need to submit a specific use permit application for this project. This project aligns
with the 2030 Mobility Master Plan. There will be no variances with this specific use permit.
The City will install the charging stations and will have notifications by the City website, tweets
and other methods to notify users of the stations and their location. The City will allow charging
use without fees for several months to be able to collect data on the usage. Fees will be
determined from the usage data and will be presented to the City Council for their consideration
to establish the charging fees.

QUESTIONS / CONCERNS:
Is there a time limit for the charging? Can you charge your car and go shopping for a couple of
hours?
There is no time limit for charging. A person can charge their car and shop for several hours
without any special conditions.
