Sincerely, David Mc&ris ZA 16-067 Narrative 1 Apricot Lane Southlake 218 State Street Southlake Town Square The purpose of this updated application is to convey all the fagade changed desired at the above address in accordance with zoning and council approval standards. Originally we wished to remove the existing tile fagade and replace with a thin brick veneer painted Grecian Ivory. There was at least one concern expressed by the Planning and Zoning Council that the painted veneer might not endure the weather in the future. In addition we requested to replace the existing iron door with a new storefront door milled of mahogany and stained in a color close to the picture. We ask if the Council would approve the door replacement and keep the existing fagade and that was unanimously approved. Immediately after the Planning and Zoning Council meeting there was a meeting with the RPAI representative who was in attendance at the Planning and Zoning Council meeting. She again expressed the RPAI position that they most likely would not approve our store opening without the brick veneer change as was approved by their architectural board. We would like to submit for your consideration a non-painted brick veneer fagade to replace the current tile fagade with the previously approved door. (samples available for inspection). Thank you in advance for considerations of these changes. David and Jan Morris Owners, Apricot Lane Southlake. 2
