The total number of signs is 5 for the Methodist Southlake Hospital and 3 for the forest park medical. The maximum sign area is 18.5 sf for the Methodist Southlake hospital and 10 sf for the forest park medical. The parking garage sign is located above the west entrance to the parking garage and is 8” in height by 6’-8 1/2” in length.The total area of the signs is 4.4 sf with a letter height of 8-inches. The outpatient discharge sign is located on the west elevation of the hospital. The sign is 8” height by 9’-4 1/4” length with a total area of 6.1 sf with a letter height of 8-inches. Both signs are non-lit painted aluminum letters. 14 Existing Master Sign Plan (Forest Park Medical) These are the existing signs for the emergency and ambulance signs located on the east façade of the hospital. There are currently 3 signs on the medical office building: Two Southlake Medical signs were approved on the upper floor on the east and west facades and only one Clinic sign was approved on the first floor north facade . Building number signs were approved for the north, east, and west upper level facades. The monument sign is an existing 5 ft. high by 49 foot masonry wall with a proposed 3’-8” by 16’-8” sign face totaling 57 sf. The current regulations is a maximum 12 foot height with a maximum 80 sf sign face. The 5 proposed directional signs are 52 inch high by 56 inches wide for a total 18.5 sf for each sign. The signs will be fabricated of aluminum with vinyl graphics. The current sign regulations permit 2 signs per site and limits the height to 3 ft. and 4 sf for the sign face on a side for a total 8 sf sign area per sign. The total sign structure is limited to 10 sf. The main hospital attached sign is located on the upper story of the north façade of the main building. The maximum area proposed is 4’-2” high by 16’-4” wide for a total of 64 sf. The sign ordinance regulations permit an upper story sign with City Council approval of a master sign plan. The maximum allowable sign area is 280 sf for the front façade and the maximum allowable letter height is 42 inches. Double stacking is letters is allowed if the area and letter height comply. The façade signs must be placed within the 75% of the façade. The proposed parking garage sign is proposed to be left justified on the upper north façade facing SH114. The maximum sign area is 7’-5 1/8” by 30’-2 ¼” for a total of 223 square feet. The proposed maximum letter height is 4’-0” and 1’ 11/16” and a maximum logo size of 7’-5 1/8” by 7’-5 1/8” for a total of 43.2 sf. As with the upper story main hospital sign, the sign ordinance regulations permit an upper story sign with City Council approval of a master sign plan. The sign ordinance regulations allow a maximum sign area is 190 sf with 42-inch maximum letter height, allow double stack text if the area and letter height comply with the ordinance and the sign must be place within the 75% of the facade. A proposed parking garage sign will be located on the west entrance to the parking garage façade. The proposed maximum area of the sign is 8 inches by 6’-8” for a 5.7 sf area with center placement on the facade. The outpatient sign is located on the west façade of the building with a proposed maximum area of 8 inches by 9’-4” for a total of 6.2 sf. Both signs 21
