To whom it may concern:
I am applying for a Specific Use Permit for a water storage tank for the well water for the above
address.
We would like a variance for the 40 foot set back from the South property line at 26 feet so it
will give us more room for the vegetable garden.
Sincerely,
Barbara

Dear City of Southlake:
Thank you for your tail and email on July 7th.
I would like to amend portions of the water tank permit submittal at 1065 Harbor Haven St.:
New Size of Water Tank: GO"diameter x R4—"H+%t4t 78"Height
o This updated tank will allow us to minimize visibility from the street on Burney Lane.
At a portion of the wood fence,a portion of the tank may be visible. We will plant a
screen directly in front of the tank to block visibility.
Material Color of Tank:We would like to request a variance on the color of the water tank.
o To draw less attention to the tank,we would like to use a dark green water tank. This
should blend in with the mature evergreens as well as the Ligustrum plants along the
perimeter fence.
Please let me know if there are questions.I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Barbera Auyang

To whom it may concern:
This is a follow up on the application for a water storage tank for
1065 Harbor Haven.
I would like to clarify that the only source of water for the residence is from the well. The
storage tank will be for water stored in-case the pump for the well is not in working condition.
This will allow there to be some water for the house until repairs are done.
We have inquired about a tank that can be buried_ Unfortunately we were told that with the rain
we get, there will be a chance for it to float up,plus the fact that a leak would not be detected_
We made a change of the tank to be a shorter one_
TLV01125. 85"diameter by 56"in height_
There are full grown trees in the back yard where the tank will be placed and shrubs have been
planted below the trees for screening.
Sincerely,
Barbara

RE: Storage tank at 1065 Harbor Haven
We were contracted by Barbara Auyang to drill a water well at 1065
Harbor Haven in December 2014, the well was designed to produce
18GPM and would require a 5000 gallon storage tank to be able to supply
the house and the irrigation system. The well was completed in January of
2015 and we are now ready to install the tank.
The rules and regulations of Southlake have changed since the plans
were designed for the well and the tank. We are requesting permission to
install an 1125 gallon above ground storage tank with the measurements of
85" x 56" tall. The rules state the tanks have to installed underground, We
do not install tanks underground because we cannot detect leaks and we
have actually had tanks float out of the ground.
Please contact us if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Jerry Browning
