Future Land Use is Public Parks / Open Space and Zoning is Community

City Council prioritized this facility in Southlake 2030 –Southlake Tennis Center
is one component of Phase III of Bicentennial Park
Will have very high level of landscaping –similar plans to what is in Bicentennial

the trees but replacing what is being removed. Some are dead and need
replaced. Will be adding some additionaltrees
Not proposing any changes to parking, any of the traffic plan or any of the courts.
Focusing on the building itself
The back of the building will have a patio area
The north of the building will have the staff offices and a staff entrance
The south of the building is where the trash will be hidden, and where golf carts
will be located
Fencing around the facility will be consistent with what has been done in the new

Proposing to add shade structures near courts –hip structure with metal roof
Existing tennis center is approximately 4,000 square feet and the proposed
expansion would take the center to 8,400 square feet including the back patio
