Item 4G CITY OF SOUTHLAKE Department of Planning & Development Services STAFF REPORT August 9, 2016 CASE NO: MSP16-005 PROJECT: Master Sign Plan for Gateway Church EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: On behalf of Gateway Church, Legacy Signs is requesting approval of a Master Sign Plan for Gateway Church located at 700 Blessed Way, Southlake, TX. REQUEST: The proposed Master Sign Plan will amend the previously approved Master Sign Plan under MSP10-002. Due to a logo change, the request is to replace three (3) of the attached building signs (east, west and southeast elevations) which include two (2) upper story signs and three (3) entrance wall signs (letters and logos only). There are no structural changes proposed and all other previously approved signage shall remain. SIGN BOARD: August 4, 2016; Approved (5-0) subject to the Staff Report dated July 29, 2016 with the exception of updating all the included renderings to show the removal of the old logo and updating of the new logo. STAFF COMMENTS: The site plan and application exhibits are attached and/or hyper- linked to this report. City Council approval of the proposed plan does not eliminate the requirement for appropriate sign application submittals prior to installation of signs.
