Request: Approval of sign variance to allow two (2) permanent attached business signs to be placed on suspended aluminum poles instead of directly on the façades of the building. Location: 1241 E. The yellow arrows indicating the approximate sign locations. 3 Site Plan The site plan showing the lease space in red. 4 Request Details The two proposed signs meet letter and logo height criteria of the general sign ordinance: The east elevation has a direct line of site from the SH114 frontage road which allows for 24 inch letter and 30 inch logo heights. The west elevation, facing Carroll Avenue, allows for 16 inch letter and 20 inch logo heights. The two proposed signs indicate 14 inch letter and 17 inch logo heights. * The maximum sign area allowed for both signs is 33.6 square feet. The proposed signs indicate an area of 32.9 square feet. 5 Proposed Sign – West Elevation Here is the proposed sign for the west elevation which can be seen from Carroll Avenue.
