Park Village, represented by Hutson Creative is requesting approval of a specific use permit to allow a one-time mass gathering event for a grand opening celebration called Sip, Shop
and Rock. The property is located at 1035 E. Southlake Boulevard,

Park Village’s Grand Opening event is called Sip, Shop and Rock. The event will be held at Park Village on Saturday, April 16th from 4 pm to 8 pm. The main event area is located
in the area outlined in blue. The applicant has worked with the Southlake DPS and the Carroll ISD for traffic control, shuttle, and safety in coordinating the event.

One-time event
Schedule:
4:00 pm - Fountain ribbon cutting with the
Mayor, City Council members, Park Village team and Park Village tenant VIPs.
Post-ceremony celebration at RA Sushi patio.
5:00 pm to 7:00 pm - VIP ticket holders will check in and receive
a commemorative pint glass and punch card which entitles them to 3 drinks at participating restaurants; stores will have activities and giveaways.
250 tickets will be available online
for purchase with proceeds going towards the Southlake Miracle League.
7:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Live music by the Gin Blossoms from 7:00 pm- 8:00 pm on a stage setup in the west center
area between Sur La Table and Mod Market.
A ticket will be required for attendance to the concert

Southlake Police officers and 2 paramedics will work the event.
ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES WILL HAVE TO BE CONSUMED IN THE RESTAURANTS AND ENCLOSED PATIO AREAS. The restaurants will limit
the patrons to a 3 drink maximum with their VIP drink ticket.

within the event area and seven officers located on the exterior for traffic control. Offices will be located at the following locations:
Southlake Blvd and Tower
S. Carroll and Zena
Rucker
Tower and the private drive behind REI
Zena Rucker and private drive behind Luke’s locker
Fire services will have 2 paramedics on site. Fencing will section off the pedestrian
only area for the VIP event and concert. There will be 2 locations for “trailer-style” restrooms; Additional trash cans and liners will be set up.

These aerial photograph show the location of the barricades and no parking signs for traffic control. 760 parking spaces will be avaliable on-site. Cones and will shuttle off unavailable
parking spaces. A shuttle service will be avaliable. (Johnson and Old Union) and several chartered buses are schedule to drop off visitors to the event in the designated area. There
will 20 no parking signs along Rucker Rd and 20 along Tower plaza. On-site barricades and no-U turn signs will will be used to control traffic.

Yard signs to be placed on site and at off site parking lots. Directional and poster signs to be placed on site.
These are the proposed event signs. A 50 sf banner will be placed on a building. Yard signs will be placed around the perimeter of the site and internally to direct guests to the event.

restaurant; and also noting the applicant’s willingness to provide additional women’s restroom facilities and give specifics to City Council on what that would look like.
