Southlake Blvd. ZA15-146 Casual Living Ltd. is requesting approval of a Specific Use Permit to allow Outdoor Sales or Services on property located at 2801 E. Southlake Boulevard, 2 Aerial View 3 4 5 Event Details Two (2) events during 2016 ( 1 year SUP) April 2-3, 2016 and September 17-18, 2016 9 AM – 7 PM Clearance of seasonal sale stock, BBQ Grill demonstrations, balloons and hotdogs Event area is approximately 54 x 60 Twelve (12) parking spaces 3 x 12 lawn banner to advertise event April Event – Read – “Grand Opening” September Event – “Clearance Sale” Casual Living Ltd. is requesting approval of a specific use permit to allow outdoor sales or services. The purpose of this request is to gain approval to hold two (2) two-day parking lot clearance sales. The events will be held April 2-3, 2016 and September 17-18, 2016, respectively. The applicant has indicated that the sale events would allow clearance of seasonal sale stock and boost income to get through the slower winter season. Furniture will be set up in the designated area in the parking lot (shown on Attachment C, page 2). Demonstration of the Big Green Egg or Primo grills will take place during the events. Balloons and hot dogs will be available for kids. The April event will serve as the Grand Opening for the store. A letter outlining the applicant’s Specific Use Permit request is located in Attachment C, page 3.   Additionally, the applicant is requesting two temporary 3 ft. by 12 ft. banners, one for each event, to be staked near the front of the property for the events. The April event banner would read “Grand Opening” and the September event banner would read “Clearance Sale”. The banner location is shown on the site plan (shown on Attachment C, page 2).
