The applicant is requesting a variance to the Sign Ordinance No. 704-H requirements to allow an attached sign on the east elevation that is proposed to be placed on a façade that does
not correlate with the tenant’s lease space location. More specifically, Edward Jones occupies Suite 120, however, is proposing their attached sign on the lease space location for Suite
140 which is currently occupied by the building owner, TDC Management LLC. The applicant states this request is due to the tenant desiring signage that would be visible from Kimball
Avenue and the restriction that was caused by the layout of the floor plan. Edward Jones is not proposing any other signage on the building. The proposed sign meets all other sign ordinance
criteria (maximum letter height of 16 inches and maximum square footage of 14.4 sf).
