By sign ordinance standards, this sign type is considered a directory sign used along internal drives or streets at the entrance points. A directory sign is allowed a maximum total
height of 6 ½ feet, with max base height of 18 inches. 50 sf max sign face area… located a minimum of 75 feet from the drive entrance at ROW.
These signs meet the size criteria, however,
are not located 75 feet from the drive entrance (existing setback approx. 15-20’). They also do not have the 6 inch masonry frame.

January 7, 2016; Approved (6-0) subject to the staff report dated December 30, 2015 and accepting the proposed signage noted in the staff report with the following exceptions:
noting
the applicant’s willingness to potentially look at slightly increasing the font size on the business monument only;
and, noting that on the internal site directional signs, that the
height will be capped at 4’ 2”, the same as the existing vehicular signs that are being replaced and a masonry base shall be required on those signs.
