Land Use
The existing Land Use is Retail Commercial. This land use is “a lower- to medium-intensity commercial category providing for neighborhood-type retail shopping facilities and general
commercial support activities… [and] will be compatible with adjacent single family uses”. An amendment to the land use plan is not being proposed.

The existing Zoning is C1 – Neighborhood Commercial District. This zoning district is intended for “neighborhood type retail shopping facilities and general commercial support activities…[and]
is intended to provide neighborhood residential services generally within one-quarter mile to one-half mile radius with limited, convenience services and small retail type items.” Rezoning
is not required.
