Throughout the year, the Water and Wastewater Divisions of Public Works make numerous purchases of parts and supplies for use in the repair and maintenance of the water and sewer system.
In order to obtain competitive pricing and facilitate these purchases, staff solicited sealed bids for the most commonly used supplies from local vendors.
On December 6, 2013, the
City received sealed bids for the annual contract for the purchase of utility parts. Two vendors submitted bids for these products.
The terms of the contract were for a total of
3 years. The current renewal being considered will be the second of two twelve month renewal options for these purchase agreements.
