4) existing habitat is active natural habitat for migratory waterfowl (some protected by Federal regulations) and
protected species witnessed by resident (Gray Hawk, listed as threatened; Black -capped Vireo, listed as
endangered),
5) value of adjacent properties will be negatively impacted in a greater amount than the potential increase in tax
Si revenue derived from proposed development and owner/developer has not provided evidence to dispute this fact,
6) development is in direct violation of the intent of the City of Southlake 2030 Plan that was approved to "..

We OPPOSE this plat revision for a multitude of reasons:
L We bought our home specifically, because of the beauty and openness that surrounds the property, We were thrilled to
ase that the city of South Lake 2080 plan describes perfectly why we move to Soutbh ke: Because the community, values to
maintain open spaces and environmental stability.
Changing in the zoning on the described property will destroy those values.
2. ,Septic system plus surface drainage will create a major problem for proper sewage distribution to our home and other
aur,rounding long time residents.
3. 'The negative impact of rezoning is greater than the increased tax revenue for the proposed development. The developer
has yet to dispute this.
As Southlake has grown, so has the level of greed. Lots are smaller, houses bunched together, the 5outhlake 2020 and 2080
plans that were put in place to protect the city from becoming a concrete jungle, is discarded with reckless abandon,
without considering the priceless value of maintaining some agricultural element to our city.

We are opposed to this request for the following reasons:
Southlake is where the country and the country club come
together. This quality is unique and very special and worth
preserving. We are opposed to having S. White Chapel Blvd's
character lost by chopping up acreage into "ghost lots" and
replacing that original ambiance with the appearance of
"millionaire's trailer parks". While the Mayor and City Council
majority is pro -growth, we urge you to give proper
consideration to this request because once you begin
compromising our neighborhood — it never will be able to
return to an area of inspiration that serves so many. Hopefully,
you will deny this request and vote to maintain a small area of
Southlake preservation.
